    Default Sickel Blade – 10-19-2009,10:02 PM


    Does anyone have a measured drawing of a sickel blade?I have a grim reaper and some old paneling I wanted to make a sickel for him.doesn't have to be excact just something for a guy about 7' tall.

    I'm building one now modeling off a few pics online and they seem to vary. I guaged by the look and feel for me to carry comfortably at my height of 6.1. The total leagth is 68 inches, and the blade is 28 which appears proportionate. I'm debating building and attaching the handles.

    Not yet but I'll get some tomorrow... still some sanding to do and it's final shape is rough atm with the Bondo I laminated to it. I modeled it after this, but wanted my blade to be a bit more tapered than these...
