Default Dead End Manor 2009

Dead End Manor is starting to come together so I thought I'd start a new showcase thread for the whole haunt rather than updating the existing threads for each prop.

So, here's a teaser shot of the almost completed mad scientists lab. In this scene is the control panel, Jacob's Ladder and sit-up patient props we built. My wife also built a small bubbling tube prop modeled off the awesome Stelter Creative Frankenstein lab props. It's on the control panel table to the right side. This room is in our garage and built out of a pipe canopy frame and black plastic sheeting walls and ceiling.

I'll post more (and closeups) when I can.

That's a beautiful Lab, but you need to get one of these -

Shady Hollow - How to Build a Jacob's Ladder

Years ago a Neon Sign company GAVE me a pair of 5,000 V Transformers. Two of these beauties running at the same time was an awesome sight.

Hi Wolfman! Good to hear from you. It's partially blocked in that picture by Dr. Shivers but the Jacob's Ladder is right next to the patient. Here's a video of it in action...

That was before I added all the red, green and blue panel lights that you can see on it now. It's running off a 15,000v neon transformer.
