With much thanks to Pumpkinrot, I've now bookmarked this new site from Dan Reeder on how to papier mache:

PaperMacheMan.com

What I like about the site is that he gives very clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how to go about doing papier mache, which are somewhat different from many of the techniques I've read from others. It seems to offer a lot of potential for many of the props we build (perhaps not skeletons, though even then I'm not sure).

As someone new to this whole Halloween prop-building thing, I liked the easily accessible information that's delivered with some humor too.

The one drawback so far is that because these lessons are posted in "real time," it means that we're only at lesson two and have to wait for Dan the Monster Man to post No. 3. That could mean we have to wait until next month if the "speed" with which he's posted the first two videos is any indication (No. 1 was posted in September; No. 2 was posted a week or so ago).

If you'd like to see him work a complete project, check out these highly caffeinated videos of him:

I guess it's only proper to note he's got a book out on his techniques too:

Anyway, I've gotten a whole lot from this forum so I thought I'd try to give back a little. Thanks!
