    Default First Corpsing – 10-17-2009,08:58 PM


    I posted a few months ago about problems I was having with a Monster in a Box...sadly, I had to abandon that quest, mostly due to my dwindling budget and limited time for experimentation. But, I recycled the toe pincher into a new static prop I'm pretty happy with. This was my first try at corpsing a skull (one of the Anatomical Chart Company's 4th quality units) with latex-soaked cotton. The wash was a mix of gray latex paint and cherrywood stain. It came out a little more shiny than I wanted, but them's the breaks. Body is 1" PVC. The final setup will have more ambient light, backdrop, fogger, etc. Enjoy...
