Thread: my yard so far

this is my yard so far... i dont think im going to be able to add anything else before halloween so this might be it. ignore the happy frankenstein and ghosts things by the door and the rest of the smiling halloween decor. (its my moms stuff...i wasnt able to have full control of the yard this year, unfortunately). this was the first year i actually built stuff and really planned it out. the reaper, coffin, and webbed guy are the main things.

looks good. but very clean. might suggest a few leaves the night of halloween? My grass looks the same sterile 364 days a year way, BUT the night of halloween we bring in 4-5 40gallon trashbags of leaves we have collected all month. Spread them around on the grass, sidewalk and driveway. (easy, just rip a hole in the bottom and walk around) It made a world of difference and the best part? FREE! What is really funny, is that everyone on the block has the same perfiect manicured yard until ya get to my house for halloween... the next morning... we all have the same yard.

yeah i the whole month of oct i just let my yard go let all the leaves that fell and a few small limbs stay then on halloween added fog and it was perfect

I never thought about the leaves...the most we ever get is what blows over from the neighbors. Great idea though, I'm gonna start collecting some.

I agree. Leaves and vines and dead flowers get dries and saved from fall clean up and come out for Halloween night.
