Good job on the signs and tombstones. I'm planning on making my first foam tombstone in the next few days so any pointers would be great. What did you use to cut out the shape of your tombstone? I have a hot wire but every time I've used it on pink foam I and up getting a lot of hard lines where my hand deviates (shaky hands). Maybe that is how everyone's comes out and then you sand the edges? Just curious ... thanks.

Oh almost forgot. Your signs are lettered in black? Do you plan on having a spotlight hitting them so they are illuminated? Or did you top coat them with a glow in the dark paint?

I really like this. They are so primitive in a Blair Witch direction. Super scary level. Those stones in a graveyard would really be unsettling. GREAT JOB!

I really like the way the lettering is scratched on. A unique effect. They look authentic.

Hello, great job on your first attempt, wish my firsts had came out so well - i threw them away!. I do have one suggestion, get them outside tonight and check what they look like in your lighting (if you plan on having them outside at night). I am concerned that all your work on the saying and lettering might disapear and all you end up with are shapes. I was just re-listening to HauntCast 11 Oktoberfest (podcast) in the theater of the mind section (37 minutes in) and he talks about quality, lighting, and distance. What shows and what doesnt.... Test it out, see what you think and (maybe) you might find yourself with a sharpie marker bringing up the letters some so they can be read from 15 feet in bad (good?) lighting. For example, I created a few hotglue pvc candles, looked great on the workbench, but took them outside a few night ago, couldnt see c@#$%^ of my efforts for the ones in the distace. Clearly for them just cut the pipe and drop in the tealite and the ones upfront that I thought looked beter not painted as the hot glue looked like wax didnt show at all and now going back and painting them. Luckly I had only made 3 as testers so I could see what worked and what didnt. Which is something we all do, make something, try it, make corrections and try somemore.

again good job, just make sure your efforts work in your situation prior to the 31st.

Oh gosh i forgot about this thread! sorry
but well what i used to cut them is a hand saw lol but then i put my sanding bit on my dermal and make it look like layered so it will look like it came out of bedrock but i hate the prefect hand writeing and edging. which i dont have good handwriting. ANY QUESTIONS drop me a line by PM or just post in here
