Okay creative people. Since making the hearse seems to be THE in thing this year...and the fact that it fits my Victorian Funeral theme this year.

Anyway, we almost have the actual coach part finished, but we have no wheels. The Harbor Freight wheels are just too small and I can't afford to buy real ones.

Any idea on what would be quick and cheap? I've pretty much blown my halloween money for the year.....

I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Some cut their wheels out of a sheet of plywood, also check craigs list you never know what you might find.

Hallow! We actually found Wagon wheels at a Big Lots store in the garden clearance. They are the large ones. $5. each. But if you Google Garden Wagon Wheels - I think you can find some that may work. A bit pricey perhaps - but I also like the Craig's List idea. Or making a plywood version. Still - no matter what type wheels you get - you will probably need support legs as well. The wheels on ours are just for show. . .
Good luck and post pics! Would love to see it!

I bought one of the Harbor Freight wheels for my pirate ship wheel. Not too pricey but have to agree with HallowSusieBoo, you'll need extra support as I don't think these will really support much weight themselves.
