    I know someone touched on this in another thread but I can't seem to find it. can anyone tell me how to make my own colored bulbs?

    I would suggest that you look on the net for your bulbs, Not sure if it is safe to color bulbs using some off the shelf paint ect. I would be worried that it would cause some sort of fire hazard. Just do a search for colored bulbs and you will find what you are looking for, I found 40W colored that are perfect for my up lighting set up at around $2.50 ea. That was less than I can buy a full sized flood for.

    No, there's paint specifically for glass that you can use on light bulbs and you need to put them in the oven to set it but that's all I know. I need a LOT of bulbs and at $2.50 a pop that's a little steep.
