Thread: Need creative ideas for a sign!

I want to make a "haunted house for sale" sign on my lawn. I don't really like the ones I have seen in the stores.

I am a realtor, so I can get my sign guy to make one up easily. Also, I have the frame & post, so it will look professional!

There are so many creative people here I thought I would pick some brains!!

I was thinking about keeping it similar to my regular signage (remax), but obviously without my brokerage name on it (my broker will think it is funny - he is a twisted guy!). I wanted to change things up and use a 'chiller' font.

I had thought I could do a topper as well (the little white signs that have things like 4 bedrooms & inground pool etc on them). Perhaps something like 4 bedrooms w/ghosts, dungeon & inground swamp...

Let me know some of your creative ideas!!

Mine is on an old mailbox post. I built a wooden house with a foam chimney and haunted it up.

but make the sign more weathered and dirty...maybe with some great stuff foam hanging off of it painted brown or black like roots/vines coming out of the ground, wrapping up the post (to give the effect of the vines growing up the post and pulling the sign into the ground into hell) Maybe put the sign in the ground crooked.
