Hello all. I am planning on mounting some battery powered LED's in my cannons. The cannons are made from cardboard and foam, and I was thinking of using a hot glue gun to attatch them inside the barrel. Would this melt anything essential in the lighting? I hate to ruin the lights, it took weeks for them to get here. Any advice greatly appreciated! thanks!

It should be fine, I attached a bunch of lights with hot glue and they were fine. The glue really isn't hot enough to do any damage.

I've used hot glue to mount LEDs for several years and never had a problem.
Hot glue is just a bit hotter than candle wax, really.

I actually used an industrial glue gun to anchor the LEDs in my pentegram (see gallery).
