I may have missed a tutorial somewhere, but I doubt it since this may seem like an odd question. I am trying to find out how to make foam or 'safe' nails that look realistic? I'd like to go for something similar to the old square nails that people used to use. I am going to be using these on a fake torture device and obviously do not want to be using the real thing, thanks for any help!

I've seen the idea around and for our "Saw" room this year, we used glue sticks. Because we wanted larger spikes we used the LARGE glue sticks. We sharpened them in a pencil sharpener and spray painted them with metallic paint.

Nice idea, oddly enough mine is for a 'saw' room as well hah. I just thought about an idea that may work as well after looking at my how to haunt your house book, I can buy one of the square nails and do a sand and hot glue mold of it and just make them that way too. Do you have any more pics of what is in your SAW room?
