I'm hoping we can all come together and share solutions, tricks, secrets etc. to making realistic eyes/eyeballs for our househaunt props. I'm currently working on a paper mache skull and my search for eyes led me to ebay where you can buy them...but isn't there a better way? After searching for almost an hour I found an iris and pupil that I liked and printed out and overlayed onto a round painted buckeye. Than I clear coated several times for depth.

    What are your suggestions?
Do you have a sheet of iris and pupils you'd like to share?
Do you have a technique you think is best?

I actually purchased the ones from Micheals (cheap) dipped them in water and elmers glue (thin coat) once dried sprayed with clear coat. The reason for the elmers glue/water was to keep the clear coat from eating the styrofoam.

Hey there Sevena777! I'm not sure (my memory is failing at this hour ), but I think Terra has a sheet of numerous iris and pupils... She makes great eyes, I'm sure she will help you!

I use sculpey and make different size eyes.
Glue with elmer's glue then use jewelry glaze.
For the iris I have used the ones from the link : Haunters Hangout Easy Eyes
I also plan on doing my own iris by using an actual photograph of an eye.
(haven't done that yet but have used them for a haunted portrait)
