Thread: new to animated props

im looking to start making some better props in my spare time for next year, as its probably a little late to start now. Ive made static props before but never used anything mechanical-wise to animate them. Any suggestions on where I can learn about the types of motors and things out there I can use in my props?

The best place to start is right here. Search (upper right corner of the home page) for previous posts about motors or first animated props and you will find tons of threads many of which will have links to cheap websites to get them. I'd start with an animated tombstone. You can probably knock one off for this year
