I have been working on a talking bust prop for this year. I bought a cheap projector, and added a shutter that is pneumatic and hacked a DVD player to be triggered by a relay. A picoboo controller controls the shutter and starts ther video loop, works well. I am going to use a vid from youtube I found.
Now on to the hard part, creating the busts. The styrofoam wig heads might be a good starting point, but I will add a base and build up with wire and papier mache. Maybe use plaster to finish? Any tips? I am going to have 3 busts as in the video (see pic) the center bust is broken and lies askew.

Bobzilla is your man on this. He made some AMAZING busts for this very project. If he doesn't show up on his own, shoot him a PM.

I edited the video with VirtualDub to get each of the four busts in a row and to straighten the leaning guy then pulled it all together with another video editor that had a merge tool. It can be done.

Do you have a vid of your build?

I think 3 busts is enough for me. I kind of like the broken bust, like in the Haunted Mansion. Did you make the youtube compilation?

I edited mine several years ago to match the pillar setup I have for the busts since the spacing is always the same. I have since added some morphing to different characters (skulls, pumpkins...) and my only copies are on DVD now. Isn't the youtube vid from disney?

Homey, can you tell where you got vid of the 4th head, the one on the left? I have the Disneyland HM DVD's which contained the rightmost 3 , and I edited them into a line, but have never found that leftmost one
