Here is the finished project of my Impaled! prop:



A funny thing: about 10 minutes ago I had a police officer at my door. He said someone stopped by the station and told them the pro looked too realistic and something about blood and guts. The complainer wanted it taken down! But the police officer said he could not make me take it down, complimented me on the prop, and went about his business with a smile on his face. I'm flattered!

That's great! You know you got in their head when they call the police! Looks good!

Out of context (i.e. not Halloween) I could see that really freaking folks out.

Thanks all. I definitely take it as a compliment. It was being made for my haunt, but since I'm not doing a haunt this year (much to the dismay of the neighborhood kids) I thought I'd stick it in my front yard. I am also building another "blood and guts" prop called Spiked that will sit in the yard next to this one
