    Here is a simple idea. Install a recessed LED under the bottle. I used 12 volt 12 LED wedge based bulbs. When the bottle sits on top of it the bottle glows. It lasts many years and every color looks great.

    What about this: It can change colors too....I bet if you dig, you may find a color selectable model as well....
