My grave grabber was working fine until I put the hands and shirt on it. Is it to heavy,or is the motor not strong enough?
heres a video of what it does now, Help?

Yea, it's either too heavy or something is binding the motor. You can see the reindeer motor cycle a small bit and then reverse itself over and over.
I think your only hope is a stronger motor.

Could I lighten it up by using pvc instead of wood, if not is there any motors that are cheap besides a wiper motor?

making your rig lighter would be a good start. That board you have running from your motor looks a bit too heavy. I would make another suggetsion, make sure you place a washer in between all of your pivot points if you have not done so already. Adding a little grease to each side of the washer during assembly would help too.

you might be able to find a rotissere motor cheaply if you look around. I used one in my first grave grabber design and it worked well.

If you take the shirt and hands off, will it work properly? Is the mechanism catching anywhere? These motors have a decent amount of torque, I think you are hitting something.
