That is the question. I am wondering what ya'll think about the rocking chair. Should I make it look old and icky too like the stuff on the table? I have some time to play with it before the motor gets here, so I'm curious what you think.

Yes, creepify. If you're concerned about killing that nice finish, the proper accessories will help. Stuff like an old shawl, Creepy Cloth and stretchy webs can go a long way to change the appearance. I found that fireplace ashes, mashed into a fine powder, makes a good simulated dust. Looks good in the webs.

definatly creepify it! Age it , or if you don't want to distress the finish do the shaw, cushion and web caster on it. mabe Mr. Bucky could be sitting in it.

How's this for a start? LOL As everyone can see - I was not the least bit concerned about the finish.

Okay, I think I'm done now. LOL I'll throw some webbing and maybe a couple of spiders on it once I motorize it and sit it on the landing.

Thanks for the advice to creepify.

That is the EXACT same chair I'm using for my haunted rocker. (was my mother's and used when I was a baby!)

Your creepified version looks sooooooo good!

Thanks FG. I got it off craigslist for $20. If only the poor woman knew what it would end up looking like.
