Does anybody know how I can make one of these?

I'm not sure I understand the concept...what is it you want to do with this?

Try this ,BattleSwitch Radio Controlled 10A Relay Switch, I use it with VSA and a Parallax board. They have a less expensive version but will not handle as high a load,Hope this helps.

PWM to switch closure device-
I have used these, years ago. www dot teamdelta dot com click R/C Electronic Switch Interfaces
(Sorry about the goofy link, apparently I am not qualified to post links (anti-spam technique))
The RCE220 at $22 might do what you need to do, depending on how much current and voltage you need to pass through it. You need to verify that they are still doing business and have stock. Like I said, it was 8 years ago when I last bought something from them. You can build these yourself, It takes a servo chip, a voltage compariter, and a couple capacitors and resistors. Then whatever circuitry you need to drive the relay or SCR from that.
The other path is the servo and cam-type switch.
A typical usage would be to turn on a valve when the left stick is pushed all most of the way forwards on the R/C transmitter.

Im gonna use it to control relays for my prop-1 and the relay cards form them are kind of expensive

If you're just using them for on/off, couldn't you use some of the digital outputs of the Prop-1 to control a TTL relay board? How about one of these?
Also, a lot of solid state relays (SSR) will run on 3-32V, in which case you could run an SSR directly from a TTL output from the Prop-1.
- HookUse DMX to Animate Servos, Dim LEDs, and Control Relays using just one board
Medusa DMX now available at...
