Thread: Fog Machines?

Just a few questions here. First, do any of you have any good suggestions for an average fog machine? I want my fog to lie close to the ground though. That is absolutely essential. Also, i'd like to know if anyone has actually succeeded in making their own. From what i understand, its mostly a heated liquid that it forces out of a smallish hole in a gaseous form. I'm curious to know if its a huge project.

I made one out of an old portable steam cleaner for a car and it works ok I guess. I did have to put a valve in line to slow down the flow of fog juice. I have also heard of people using propain bug foggers with fog juice too but I'm not sure how safe it is...

I would stick with buying one, maybe a 700watt with a timer since you want something average. To keep it lowlying do a search for fog chillers and you will find plenty of posts with links for instructions to make one.

I wouldnt get anything less then 700 watts, 1000 watts even better
