Hallow!! I luv it!! I have seen similar lanterns at our local army surplus store - and in some of the camping sections of department stores. How will you weigh it down to prevent a little treater from tipping it over? It's a cool gallows design for sure! Great job! My daughter lives and works in San Diego and I'm going to invite her to be a new member of the Forum. I'll be sure to tell her she has a kindred "spirit" in SD! You have great weather for prop building - lucky you! BOO!

hello!
I got it at good 'ole WalMart of all places. It was 4.99 plus tax if i recall correctly. I found it in the camping section. And I added some touches of rust and old blood on it to give it an old creepy feel.
They had a black lantern as well!

Ha very nice, its hard to find fellow Haunters in SD that share my passion! Ha. My idea for holding it down would be either securing it with fishing wire to a ground post, so it would be invisible to see, or maybe even digging up the ground and putting it in there! Not sure yet.
I am very fortunate with the weather! I love it! Its a nice 72 degrees and not a cloud in the sky!
