My first attempt at building a coffin last year I had just a wood box some parts came in, so this year thought I would try to build a new one, this is what it is looking like so far, still alot to do and so little time.

Yea on each of the boards on the top I cut them 3 1/2" wide routed each one and offset them a bit and just stacked them up.
