wow thats one of the best homemade coffins i have ever seen. i was gonna try and do something like that but with foam instead of wood to try and keep the weight down for easy movement.

Thanks, my hinges came in today, so I hope to get them on and stained by the end of the week, hopefully I can put some more pics on by the weekend. To bad work gets in the way of play time.

Kind of reminds me of the Trinity Killer's Coffin from last weeks episode of Dexter. You are not the Trinity Killer are you?
Well done!

Wow! Your doing a great job on your coffin. I want to make a Gothic toe-pincher style one but, alas I have limited storage space and no real work area. My kitchen is my workshop....till it's supper time, then my wife makes me put all my "Toys" away.
I want to come up with a coffin that would be strong yet light. (it must be hauled up to the attic each year)
Oh yes, I wanted to ask you.....(be honest now).....just how many times have you jumped in your coffin to try it on for size now ?"Imagination is the theater of the mind wherein true horror is enacted and nightmares become reality" - Vincent Price
