Here are the new photos of my nearly complete castle facade. I finally got around to adding some 3D window frames made out of styrofoam and I added a faux gateway into the castle using styrofoam again. All I need to do now is make some flags for the towers and eventually I have 12 foot skeleton that will cover the white of the building and possibly hold a sign with the name of the Haunt on it. Over all I am quite pleased with the way everything turned out. Now its on to the inside.

    Comments, Suggestions, always welcome!

Not canvas, canvas is too expensive. I used 3 polyethylene tarps. The towers are made from 1 that is 10x20 and the center one was 24 x 40 but I cut it down later and regrommeted it.

I wish we had painted ours free-hand. We used a 4' x 8' stencil and it looked too "clean".

LV Scott - sponge paint, real quick...sparsly....green/brown moss on the tops of each "brick". and maybe not each brick....that'll make it more realistic and older.

Like, see how in your pic, the upper right corner has part of the tree hanging in it? Those bricks behind it, look great!! LOL

    Just a thought!

cybr - your wall is AMAZING!!!

NOW you tell me! LOL I know. I had all kinds of wonderful ideas on how to finish it... but not the time.

That is so cool! I love the castle look. I know it took a lot of time and it shows.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.
