I've heard of this in passing, can't recall where...
Have any of you ever used a heat gun to melt plastic trashbags or grocery bags to a form for texture?
I think the idea is if you had a bag slipped over a length of, say, 2 inch pvc, you gave the bag a slight twist for wrinkles and hit it with a heat gun, you would end up with a vein-like, ropey, even corded muscle look.
Has anyone ever tried this? What did you do and what was the effect?

Hmm, never heard of that, but it sounds promising. Just make sure to use good ventilation and possibly a protective mask if you try it. Burning plastic isn't good for your lungs.

Never tried it myself, but here's a really neat example: Spooky Sam's '09 $20 prop: The Gravity Grabber - HauntForum.com

I have never tried it. I have a Riobe heat gun. I will have to experiment.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

I like the idea! Never tried it, but could you twist a garbage bag on itself then heat it with the gun and make it look like vines?
Great idea!
