Ok, so I ponied up the money for a talking bucky kit from Cowlacious, but need ideas on what to set it on when its done. It's just going to be a static item (other than the jaw moving), but what's the best kind of stand to put this thing on?

Based on advice I got elsewhere in the forum, I built a body from 1" PVC pipe and couplings I got from Home Depot. All together, they cost $10.00. I used a 3/8" threaded rod to connect the skull to the body. The "neck" has an endcap that I drilled and attached a bolt to to put everything together.

Hi there,
I too have purchased the Cowlicious skull kit and Scarey Terry servo (Putting it together this weekend). Did you follow the advice given, or did you use something else? I built a pedestal cemetery post that I'm thinking about mounting the skull onto, but I also need the "neck". Please let me know!
Thank you,
Curlz

I built a second "hanging skull" using this: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Triangle-Tie-Out-Stake-Dogs-Pets/dp/B0002QHY3I/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=miscellaneous&qid=1255617867& sr=8-4]Amazon.com: Triangle Top Tie-Out Stake for Dogs/Pets - 16": Everything Else[/ame] (I got mine from Home Depot). I glued the skullcap onto the skull and drilled a hole in the top and fed this through and out the neck hole. I plan to add a little red wax blood where the stake goes through the top. I'm using it as a greeter at the entry to the haunt.
