I got a lot done today in only a few hours. I think this is coming along nicely. The triangle at the top will get some trim next.

The triangle is removable. I have a string of very tiny LED lights that goes inside the inner area of the triangle:


Just before cutting out the letters with a Dremel:


Quick lighting test with the face of the triangle attached:

I have been wanting to do a light up sign as well. Just out of time this year.

But you sign is very cool! I light the color choice too!
