Smile Need desperate help! Motors

Hi,

I am in need of instructions or a link to making a cheap turning motor!
I have no idea what parts i may need but i know its some sort of motor and a base, with bearings, i need it to be a turntable style mechanism just small enough to hide under something.

THANKS!!

Something that looks like these attachments that i can plug into a normal outlet.

Hi - you need to give us more info. Is something going to sit on top of this turntable thing? How heavy will it be? What speed does it need to rotate?

Well i just need something that can turn a pumpkin or somehting around at about 5-8 RPM's. It wouldn't be much more than about 1lb. or so.

Wiper motor or Disco Ball motor - both readily available and cheap.

Im still not totally clear on how to work a wiper motor, or power one, but the disco ball motor crossed my mind a few times, and im fairly certain it doesn't matter what the orientation of the motor is, since i want it "upside down".

Does anyone have a good website for discount motors and such where i can acquire a cheap one ?
