I am running out of outlets both inside and outside the house and have a good number of extension cords now. Is there anything that can be placed in the yard as a central point for power that all of the cords can plug into?

A good quality power strip from your hardware store should work. Some stores, like Home Depot, sell fake rocks that you can use to cover the power strip.

As long as the power requirement for your props isn't too high then a power strip should work great for you.
