Hi everyone, just wondering if any of you have painted an artificial Christmas tree black? I got a tree off freecycle and I need to make it black for my Halloween tree. Do you think spray paint would work? Thanks for any help.

I think it would work but depending on the size of the tree it may take a lot of spray paint. Also, it might end up very flamable! I would do some testing!

Haven't done it myself, though I'd assume you need a plastic-friendly paint, like Krylon Fusion.

I was in Garden Ridge the other day and they had Black Christmas trees for sale.
They also had orange, purple, blue, red............
