    Hi,

I'm looking for some sort of paint/clear coat/anything that I can use
to color clear plastic light housing and still keep it transparent. I know they make glass paint that imparts its color but remains clear. I am unsure if that will work on plastics though.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Glass paint should work. I have used it on resin and lightpipes. I can peel it off the light pipes if I pick at it. For the resin, I wanted a very light color, so I dissolved the glass paint into Future floor finish. I liked the way it turned out so I never tried to remove it.

Another option would be Testors transparent paint, though I have no experience with it.
