I can't quite recall where, but I for some reason keep recalling someone posting somewhere that they were out buying foam wig heads at Hobby Lobby for Mr.Chicken, and that is all I can remember.
My question is, is it true that they sell these wig heads there all the time? Was it only a one time deal? Or do they keep them in stock all the time? Cause I need a few more aliens for my crash scene, and I was thinking that I was going to either have to order offline or through my hair dresser. They just put a Hobby Lobby in around here, and this is my excuse to check it out.
Any clarification would help, thanks!![]()

Speaking of Hobby Lobby... Do they carry good Halloween stuff? I plan on checking this weekend... Was wondering if any of you had any luck?

Yes, Hobby Lobby carries Halloween stuff....but you're talking cutesy Halloween decor.
As for styrofoam heads, Savers carries them. I think they were $3.99 when I saw them last night

Check out Dollar Days. They sell by the case at wholesale prices, so rather than paying anywhere from $7-8 per head you can get them at about $2 per head. This is great if you need a lot of them. I have also ordered tons of creepy cloth and spider webs from them as well.
Mr. Nightmare, I've always had great luck at Hobby Lobby for Halloween. Other regular stops are Michael's, Walgreens, Big Lots, Rite-Aid, and believe it or not, Lowe's usually has great inexpensive Halloween stuff too. Don't forget your local Goodwill or other thirft stores!

I've always gotten the wig heads at Sally's or lucked into them at garage sales/flea markets.
Hobby Lobby is a uber-christian store, and they do NOT carry any decent props for Halloween - only autumn stuff or the so-cute-it-makes-you-vomit type of stuff for the season.
They do have stuff that can MAKE good Halloween props, but don't go expecting them to have displays of skeletons, witches and zombies... (although I would think they would LOVE zombies, since wasn't one of the biggies in christianity a "rose from the dead" kind of guy?

I just pulled up that Dollar Days site and it is a good deal for female heads, but male heads are still $9 each. Anyone know another good source for budget male foam heads? I don't have a Hobby Lobby within several hundred miles, and they don't sell online.
