    Hi

    Just finished buiding my electric chair for this years haunt, the chair looks great so will try and post some pics soon and start a new thread showing the 2009 UK haunt. the last year can be seen on

    Basically im after an electricity effect to be at the top of the chair, I think i have seen posts before where you can buy what loks like a flourescent tube...Any ideas..please help.

    Jacobs ladder not an option....!!

    I used what's called Electroluminescent Wire on the top of my electric chair. It's kind of like flexible neon. I used Yellow around the two electrodes and Blue for the lightning bolt in between.

    Do you think two small plasma balls would work? They would certainly stand out, but I don't know how well they would keep up in the elements. If you were looking for more of an arching light, I would say go with that flouresent tubing, or even a string of crazy rope lights if you were in a pinch.
    Lets see....Magic, miniature horses, penguins, lacrosse, volleyball, and Halloween

    just ordered the cold cathode tube..will let you know how it looks...thanks for all your help and keep an eye open for UK haunt 2009.
