(sigh) GoS says she's in love with you Mark No fear, she's married to an engineer, but she really likes smart, talented guys (lots to fall in love with here on HF...).

That organ and organist is totally over the top from a home haunt perspective. I only stumbled upon this thread today and have enjoyed watching the project progress. I can't wait to see a video of it on Halloween night (assume you will be posting one from then). I'll bet the crowds won't leave your doorstep. After seeing the guy play all I can say is "applause, applause".

Thank you everyone for all your kind words, I am so glad everyone likes it. Like I said this was my first animatronic build after reading all the information (and some special help) on this forum. I just got done tonight mixing the soundtrack for my Halloween show (it’s 11 minutes long all to the Disney Haunted Mansion), so now it’s off to programming I go >.<. Oh and I will be sure to post the final show, I think you will love it, projected pumpkins, peppers ghosts, and more animatronics! (I love this Medusa board!)

Well here he is in the final show, I learned a lot of lessons for my first animatronic build including that there is such a thing as too much.

What you are seeing is what was left of the show after I had to cut two illusions out of the production due to lack of time. My Madame Leota was all but ruined as well as if you look close you can see that her face is cracked and I ruined my plastic Crystal Ball by trying to remove some paint from the inside.

I got mixed results from the crowds this year, most loved it, but others said they liked the walkthrough from last year, so I am going to give them what they want next year and blend the two types of shows together and throw in some more scares.

I didn't find it boring at all, but I love animatronic shows. Most folks, not appreciating or knowing what goes into them may find it too long and get bored easily. I think a winning combo would be to indeed insert the show in between scares...that way it is paced better.

First... Attempt... at... Animatronics.......make's me want to go out and burn my prop shed, then shoot myself for good measure! THAT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! How could anyone be bored with that display?!?!? I'd give my eye teeth just for the organ player, which, by the way, if you are planning to phase him out for more of a 'scare factor' show, PLEASE email me with a price and I'll burn up the internet getting it too you! I can only hope there's a 'how-to' somewhere in the future on what is undoubtedly the finest organ player build I've ever seen anywhere. Might be WAY over my head, but I'll damn sure give it a try. Mark, you are a genius!!

If people thought that was boring .........I guess they didn't appericiate all the time and effort that went into it. I also enjoy the animantronics more than anything else. I guess it has to do with the " how was that done" factor. Again very nice job.
