I'm wondering how to hook up a motion sensor to a prop, I have Aurora sensors that have a place for a + and a - to power them but there is another terminal that says R R, not sure how to hook it up anyone else know?

I found a bunch of Ademco manuals here:

Security System user manuals: Ademco security and alarm user manuals

but I don't know which one you have. The outputs may be different for each model. Is yours listed here?

If they are the Honeywell Aurora PIR type, they are normally used as part of an alarm system. They have small relays inside that either open or close contacts when activated.

A simple way to hack these is to add your own relay (time delay relay) across the LED terminals sine the LED is powered when it is activated. Then you'll have some control of on/off times for your prop.
These are available complete or in various kit forms and are fairly inexpensive.
