Hi Folks,
Well, I changed my mind...I found this antique, very-used, Dexter meat cleaver (it must weigh over a pound!) at an antique store in Micanopy, FL and HAD to have it and I decided to use it in place of the long knife I originally used for this prop. So, what do you think...a better choice??
I just posted these at my Forum page and Photobucket site.
Take sCare,

"The dissecting room and the slaughterhouse furnished many of my materials; and often did my human nature turn with loathing from my occupation, whilst, still urged on by an eagerness which perpetually increased, I brought my work near to a conclusion." - Dr. Victor Frankenstein

Both look really good . I just hope that your TOT'ers have NO way of getting to them.
Night night. Sleep tight . Hope the monsters under your bed don't bite.

I like it!
Add a little deep red to the center of your hand's bones. It will make it look more realistic, since bones aren't solid.
I think I prefer the clever.

I'd go with the cleaver as well.

Certainly the cleaver. I use it occasionally (for chicken!) and it still intimidates me.

I think the cleaver is more suited for the scene. I mean, who uses a knife to chop off a hand?! You use knives for stabbing and gutting. It's all about the right tool for the right job and knife just doesn't say "chopped off limb" to me. Ya know?
