I got this clock at a yard sale the other day and I want to make it run backwards. Can anyone tell me how to do that? It's battery operated, standard setup. Is it as simple as switching a couple of wires? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

You might need to do more then switch wires. I'm thinking gears. Otherwise nobody is even going to notice unless the second hand is actually making a fast backwards rotating circut. You can check local clock repair shops for more inf.

What you might want to do is replace the current motor with a small model motor that will run counter-clockwise at a higher speed. That way, people will notice there's something "off" about the clock.

If you took the clock to a hobby store, they'd be able to set you up with eactly what you need.

    BTW, nice looking clock!
