last year i wanted to make 3 scarecrows to guard my haunt but i was having trouble finding the style of mask that i wanted,So i decided to try and make my own... So i took some wig heads i had (male and female) carved them a little then wrapped them in burlap and covered them with some mask LaTeX..
as they were drying i couldn't believe how easy it turned out to be and how good i thought they looked. When they dried i did some painting to shadow them then put some low shine polyurethane to water prof them and wala i Had myself scarecrow heads that fit the style i was looking for..
Let me know what you think

Great job. I really like the finished product. The shaping on the last one is incredible. I just might have to imitate that one. Remember though, "Imitation is the sincerest flattery"

Did you actually stitch the eyes and mouth or is that paint? it has a lot of depth to it.

You can buy them at any beauty supply company. They cost between $3.00-$5.00 a piece.
