Thread: Mad Scientist laboratory switch prop - trying to find

I came across this photo of a mad scientist switch prop. It looked really cool, but I've been doing web searches to try and find someone who may sell without success. Has anyone seen anything like this on one of the Halloween prop sites per chance? Thanks.

Little hard to make out the image. Looks like a knife switch. Is it just a prop, or actual switch that can control an electrical current?

Yes, sorry the image is so small. It looks like a pre-fab sort of prop, but I just couldn't fimd anything online. Probably exists somewhere, just can't find. Evidentally when you throw the switch, it screams and there is a little lightening bolt that lights up a bit.

I appreciate the thought about trying to construct. Wish I had the talent of some of the folks in this forum. I love looking at the talented people create stuff ...

Glad Odiebenny asked the question and thanks SacramentoGal for finding it. I get BuyCostumes' emails but hadn't noticed this item. BTW the offer is through Monday 7/27 11:49pm CDT. Looks like a pretty cool prop for the price. I bought one (to get 2 with bonus BOGO free offer) thinking two would look better on a lab wall than one. Coincidentally last week I bought a Frankenstein head statute so hopefully the switches will get good use. And I just remembered that I have two skelly doctors and a kicking legs prop from BigLots last year....sounds like a plan for halloween.

Markgoodson, I use safari and just brought up the Buycostumes site and no problems here. No problems with the other links people on this thread have posted either.

See them on there and bids are increasing the price, plus the shipping is just under ten bucks.
