Just thought I'd let you all know that Dollar Tree has some new 600x expanding toys!
I bought a brain, a hand, and an eyeball. I hope they expand to life-size.

those are really cool , the ones i found in our dollor stores last year , i used many brains in a large jar with an aquarium fizz for the mad lab last year and a foot and a hand in a bubbling jar , so far they are still in water and looking good , and they have not grown overzied either .

yeah I've got them soaking right now!
Does the hand or brain grow to a realistic size?

I think you have to give it enough water but not too much water.
We picked a jar that we thought was big enough for a real hand to fit in and then put it in.
You can see the results in this photo on the upper shelf on the wall. Of course it looked creepier without the camera flash

yeah that looks pretty good! The thing I liked about the dollar tree toys is that the hand is flesh color and the brain is a realistic gray color. Im going to be buy some more...because I have a feeling these won't last very long.
Has anyone tried substituting baby oil or vegetable oil in-place of the water after it has expanded? I wonder if it will preserve the size!?

What a cool lab set up Meeps! I bet it looks great when it's all lit up properly.
Are these expanding thingumijigs available in Holland?
The only thing I've seen like it over here is a "Grow your own gay best friend"
