Default Shiatsu Powered Zombie (standing)

Here's my newest prop it's a zombie powered by a shiatsu massager, audio is from one of the cheapo MP3's connect to PC speakers mounted in the chest area. Prop is currently triggered by R/C, but will be connected to a motion sensor for the haunt. It's hard to tell from the pic, but he stands right at 5'.

Sorry I didn't take any photos along the way. I modified mine from others I had seen. Here's a basic sketch for it.

I used a foam filled latex prop zombie head, hands from one of my ground breakers last year, plastic bags and duct tape to fill him out. I hid the galvanize pipe in his right pants leg and added some filler hung from the massager to fill out the thigh on the right.

For the audio I taped 2 smaller pc speakers on either side of the cross beneath the horizontal bar for his shoulders and connect a cheapo mp3 player. Audio is from Poison Props Monsters & Zombies CD.

Hope you enjoy!

Grreat job!!! ...do you have any pics of the build? I have a couple of those massagers and was going to make groundbreakers with them, but checking out your work, I'm thinking about using one for my graverobber instead.

Do you think the "moving" arm could hold the weight of a lantern?

and where do I find a cheapo MP3 player?

I bought the mp3 players during a group buy on another forum for $5/piece. You might check ebay though.

I don't know about the supporting a lantern, but I'm considering building another one for my cemetery grounds keeper and adding a lantern. I'll keep ya posted on my findings and I'll try and take some pics of the build for those interested.

Great work! That's reminiscent of Madmax's old standing zombie.
You could stand him outside of a local bar and wait for a cop to try to arrest him.

A group of these (4-5) in a dark hallway or ally would scare anyone LOL
