Thread: Coffin lids split or entire lid ?

I am just curious as to how many of you use a coffin with a split lid that only opens the top/upper front half , or do you use a lid that covers the entire coffin ? And it doesn't matter if its a toe pincher or regular modern rectangular version .

I am making another coffing prop , where a skelly sits up and talks to you , but , unsure as to whether to make the coffin lid split or whole .

in this case I vote split lid as you can hide your mechanicals and electronics easier.

I'm with propboy - a split lid makes it easy to hide the working parts.
