I had 9 pieces of cemetery fence made out of 1/2" PVC and 1x2s and I decided to add to stone work around the fences. I started by cutting off the bottoms of the PVC fences so they would sit flat in a frame I contruced out of 2x4s. I covered 1 side of the 2x4 frames with 1x lumber that I got for a steal. This created a pocket on the other side with I inserted 2" thick foam. Also added finials to the PVC Fence. Turned out like this:

Next was the stone work. I spend 2+ hours carving the 1st one with a dremel and with 8 more to go I decided there had to be a better way. I decided to paint my grout line on with Acetone. The lines are not as nice as the dremel lines but with 108' of fence I can live with it. Here is my hand painting grout lines and the finished panel after I gave it a base coat of gray paint .

Here is a view of the backside of the panels sitting nice while they dry. I am not sure whether to paint or stain the backs of the panels.

Depending on how they turn out, the backside of the panels might actually become the front with the stonework facing into our cemetery.

that looks great, and look like way less mess than my wire brush on a drill method, I have small bits of foam everywhere!
