hi i'm here again with another haunted mansion problem. you see im being one of a kind and remaking the haunted mansion with my own story. in the ballroom i want to put an organist, an endless hallway, chandeliers, tables and chairs, dancing ghosts, but i want to add a very special character, but i can't decide if i she should be in the ballroom as grandma taters (don't ask) or in the graveyard looking for her brain. i think in the grave yard so the dancing ghosts can be the main attraction, but i wanted to put a singing head. i only have two projectors and two days in a row. the first day i'm making a changing portrait and either grandma taters or a singing bust. the second day im making madame leota, which i think should float or would it be easier for her to sit still, and the dancing ghosts or grandma taters. what should i do?! i was thinking maybe of projecting two things like grandma taters interacting with the singing bust or by the dancing ghosts, but i'll let you pros decide. should i just take her out?

Sounds pretty cool. Are the dancing ghosts dancing to the music of the singing bust? If so, I would try to incorperate grandma taters with them. Maybe dancing with the ghosts.

First off, don't make Leota float if this is your first go-around. That's going to be a huge headache unless you can figure out the Disney World version that puts the projector inside the head. Otherwise, you've gotta ensure that the movement of the ball is precisely consistent and essentially motion track the face to the ball. Headaches.

Now, if you have GT interacting with another projection (ie: the bust), you'll have to have both projections perfectly synchronized to pull it off. OR you can put both projections on one video that spans the space of both of them. Like this: (SB=singing bust, GT= grandma taters)

Of course, this means lining up 2 head forms on the same video loop, which may not be too bad.

I think it would be easier to have her comment on the song than on the organ music, if that's what you're talking about, so yeah, I'd do her with the bust.
