I've actually been thinking about this a lot. I may want to modularize these components.
First build a rig with just the relay and outlets (one for NC and one for NO). Then plug that into a rig that just has an input with a motion sensor and an output. That way I'm not stuck to the motion sensor for the switching between the two.
I was at Big Lots! this evening looking for tonic water for glowing Jello and I saw a remote controlled switch for 120V AC that'll control up to 1000W for only $12. If it wasn't a 10 day pay period that fell on rent day, I would have totally got one. Instead, I hid one and hope it's still there when I go back.

Yeah, the Valley 6 is still open. We also make the trek out to Whidbey Island occasionally to hit the Blue Fox DriveIn, but that's WAY OFF TOPIC.
On topic, I found something called the Super Switch at Harbor Freight, switches 3 separate outlets with one remote. Add some relays and motion sensors and voila! I'll have a lightshow.
