Any place that specializes in artificial floral should have some.
A Floral wholesaler would, but you need a business license to buy there
Crafty type stores probably would not.

Try this place, they seem to have what you want:

Best prices I found last year were from the Bamboo Fencer. (sorry, don't have a link at the moment, google bamboo fencer) It was cheaper than all local stores, even after shipping.

Another option is to use PVC pipe.

If you score a ring around the pipe with a knife, then heat that with a torch, it will bulge and look quite like bamboo. A little paint, and presto.

I agree with unorthodox about pvc. Fairly cheap and easy to get, use PVC pipe with yellow and brown paint. Brown is for the "bulge" stripes every 8"-10". Seal with marine grade verathane (also known as Spar) for an additional yellow look.

I can't imagine what the crazy shipping cost would be for long awkward poles.

buying bamboo is way expensive! I have been lucky to be ale to go down to the river and get some for free with a cordless saw. I think pvc is the way to go. You might be bale to make the ring bumps by using some hotglue or bondo. PVC is way cheaper for sure

Target sells bamboo fencing , I grow my own. I have a few variations growing in my back yard. I know there are some local growers here in S.Fl. that sell what they grow. Your best bet is someone that grows it , check out craigslist.
