For several years, I have had a Cider Shack as part of my yard haunt. I set it up and give out hot cider for ToTs and parents. Here is a pic of the original Cider Shack.
This year, I am building a new Cider Shack (and other structures) in a Mansford/Victorian design. Here is my initial design for the new Cider Shack.
I will be building the frame out of 1x4 white board, and then cover everything with styrofoam. This will allow for lightweight structures that will be weather resistant and easy to assemble and store.

Okay, I had the time so I went ahead and built the frame structure for the new cider shack roof.
Here is the basic angled frame. It is 4 ft wide, 5 ft long, and 3 ft tall.
Here it is with the dormers and windows framed out.
And here is the frame for the roof at the end of the day, with the dormer roof angle pieces added. I have built this frame so that each side can come apart with the removal of a few screws.

What other "structures" are you planning on building?

Wooo-Hooo, a haunted lemonade stand. Maybe you could sell cups of cider for 25 cents to help defer the cost of the haunt? Nice job, TK.
