I'm planning on making an axworthy flying spider for my haunt this year and was wondering if anyone has tried this already. i googled and youtubed it and couldn't find anything. I was also wondering how light the spider would have to be to work properly. Any ideas would be more than appreciated.

There are several good discussions about Crank Spiders on the forum, Try the search feature in the upper right hand corner, I like to use the advanced search which lets narrow the search to a forum section such as "props" best of luck

Are you wanting to fly a spider on a single line around your yard, or are you trying to do a crank spider with eight lines for the legs? I don't think you'll have much luck doing both at once.

I'm going to try to do a flying crank spider and a spider which flies around in my yard, but separately. so as in 2 separate props.
