Does anyone know how to make a moonflower effect light without buying an expensive light.
I was thinking of maybe shining a spotlight on a disco-ball and making the rays of light show with fog.
I am open to any ideas that wont cost me a fortune.

Im looking for something like this effect

    Define "Fortune"!

I don't know if trying to replicate this effect IS the cheaper way to go!?
    heres one for under $25
    SIXSTARDJ.COM 103 MINI MOON $22.99

I guess it could be accomplished with some dollar store mirrors, a portable fan, and a green laser pointer...but don't quote me on that. I'm not the best at Macgyvering lights. Personally, I would just buy a built unit at 22.99. hope that helps.

Being to late for me to try anything; I wonder if a backlit rotating object with a few holes punched into it would do the trick.
