I have a $35 gift card to amazon.com. I was looking for something to keep me entertained and I came across two books:
Hautnted House Halloween Handbook & Halloween Propmaker's Handbook.
Has anyone ever read either of these or have any comments, or other book suggestions. I'm looking for some reading to set off some ideas for props and to help my home haunt.
Thanks.

Why am I so sympathetic to the monsters. The answer is simple. Because I am one!

I've read Jerry Chavez' Haunted House Halloween Handbook. It had descriptions on how to set up your own HH with some good ideas on props. It's a bit outdated, but it was available at the local library.
The Mitchell's How to Haunt Your House will supposably be sold through Amazon.com shortly. It looks like a great book. You might want to wait until then.

BTW: Check out your local library....
I checked out Extreme Pumpkins I and II plus a book called "A Halloween How-To" last week. My library has a lot of Halloween books, although most are geared toward "cutsie" stuff.
You don't know what you'll find until you look...
